We created the idea of USAck (a sack made in the USA) from a need to create a products that was 100% natural. We, like millions of other people out there are concerned about the environment and the way we as consumers, use it.  The bags we create are not Non-woven polyethylene unlike major retailers bags.  Non-woven polyethylene is a fancy term for recycled plastic.  If people want to reduce the amount of plastic that is being used, why continue to purchase plastic?  Plastic is still plastic, regardless where it comes from.  Plastic bags are made from non-renewable petroleum and do not sufficiently break-down or degrade over time.  Both plastic and paper bags alike are bad for the environment and wildlife.  Paper bags are quite often made from unsustainable resources and are a leading cause of deforestation resulting in the reduction of precious wildlife habitats.  Paper bags also use more energy than plastic bags to be produced and create more solid waste than plastic bags once thrown away.  Some people think that because they get paper instead of plastic, they are using a more efficient, recycled resource, they are not! 

Our bags are 100% cotton denim, grown and sewn in Texas.  The cotton is grown by American’s, sewn by Americans and is  like a pair of your favorite comfortable blue jeans.  It is soft to the touch, yet durable and completely machine washable.
